BATHROOM SHOWROOM
I had the opportunity to complete a 90-hour internship at Roughing it In Style, after which I was hired as a full time Kitchen and Bath Designer. A section of their showroom had been designated the future home of a bathroom vanity display area.
They aked me to create a mock-up’ of what this area of the showroom could look like. Not only was I asked to lay out the space, but was given the freedom to use my knowledge of the barn wood used, and the abilities of the RRW woodshop, to create unique bathroom vanities and suites.
FULLY CUSTOMISABLE
The video shows the basic foundation for a vanity, and expands on the base to show how the vanity can be modified to be exactly what a client wants.
VIRTUAL SHOWROOM
This virtual showroom incorporates vanities from the 5 styles of doors/wood that are used in RIIS custom builds. Additionally, I created my own custom bathroom vanity from a reclaimed wine barrel and wagon wheels. The scope of the woodshops builds are not limited to vanities, but cabinetry can also be built for laundry rooms and for closets.

THE
INTERNSHIP
During my internship at Roughing It In Style, I developed hands-on experience in custom kitchen and bath design. After graduation, I transitioned into a role as a sales associate and kitchen and bath designer, specializing in custom barnwood kitchens. Recognizing a need for clarity in the client experience, I took the initiative to create a catalog showcasing various cabinet styles, enabling clients to easily compare designs and understand the value of their investment.
